The Golden Glass is a private home bar in San Francisco dedicated to the craft of cocktails and the quiet pleasure of good company. We host small, intentional gatherings where every drink is considered and every detail matters.
Our standing menu evolves with the seasons and our own curiosity. You’ll find reimagined classics alongside original creations — some clarified and silky, others bright and frozen. Many are milk-washed or barrel-influenced for texture and depth.
Whether you’re joining one of our seasonal events or inquiring about a private evening, we aim for warmth, precision, and a touch of elegance. No pretense — just excellent drinks and thoughtful hospitality.
2026 Lineup for The Golden Glass
After a year spent circling the globe together through “Drink Around the World”, it felt only right to turn our attention not outward, but backward. Elixirs Through the Eras is a celebration of cocktail history, tracing the evolution of the drink from its earliest structured forms to the boundary-pushing creations of today.
Tropical & Tiki Era. Bold, colorful, and layered drinks that lean into fantasy, transport, and indulgence.
Mid-century Lounge Era. Effortless glamour, highballs, and polished leisure. Current event.
Disco Era. Bigger, brighter, louder — vivid colors, playful builds, and unapologetic fun.
Mid-century Lounge Era • 1950s–1970s
Step into the glitz and glamour of mid-century Hollywood at our Dore Alley soirée, where the red carpet meets the laid-back sophistication of the lounge era. Enjoy an evening of stylish thematic cocktails in a swanky, velvet-draped setting reminiscent of classic lounge bars. Groovy tunes, classic beats, plush seating, dramatic lighting, and dancing for those who feel the rhythm.
Dress code: Lounge Era. Channel your inner movie star with retro Hollywood flair, lounge-inspired ensembles, or classic mid-century fashion. Cocktail dresses, sharp suits, or anything that makes you feel stylish, glamorous, and comfortable. Your comfort is always key.
Snacks: Light snacks and sweet treats provided (fruits, chips & salsa, cupcakes). You are welcome to bring any additional food.
Parking: Market or Grand View area. It’s SF — don’t leave valuables in your car.
